What is SecurityExtra?
SecurityExtra tracks news on information and physical security – two sections of business that for too long have been treated separately. They are the same.
Any information guardian will attest, security is only as strong as its weakest link – and that link is usually people. Today’s information guardian is faced with locking down computers, keeping phone lines secure and in some cases people out of harm’s way. But such an array of threats and vulnerabilities in information systems, buildings and people, make this a minefield to navigate.
We track news of the tools, techniques and talent that make life easier for the security professional.
