GrIDsure, the innovative alternative to PINs and passwords, today announced that it has appointed Andrew Henderson as Managing Director of the company. Andrew will be responsible for driving GrIDsure’s sales growth and will initially be concentrating on growing the company’s presence in the UK and France.

Andrew brings 14 years of commercial experience in the authentication market to the role of MD. Prior to joining GrIDsure he worked at Giesecke & Devrient for nine years, and also held positions at Gemplus and NBS Technologies. Andrew will be calling upon his significant vertical experience from the public sector, financial services and telecoms industries to help further develop GrIDsure’s partner network.

Andrew Henderson said of his appointment: “I first came across GrIDsure a number of years ago and have found its strong authentication proposition hugely compelling ever since. Throughout my time in the security and authentication industry there has always been a search for products and solutions that offer excellent security but are easy to use, so it’s very exciting to be part of a company that offers both. Throughout his career Andrew has been an active member of the wider security industry and is currently the Chairman of the Intellect Identity Management working group.
